Mexican-made electric car

Sales of electric vehicles doubled in 2021 to a record 66 million. But in Latin America, where the price of the average electric-powered car is still out of the reach of many buyers, one new product, produced entirely in Mexico, could be a solution. Solarever is one of Mexico’s leading solar panel manufacturers, and its launch into the EV sector is about creating renewable energy independence for its clients. CGTN’s Alasdair Baverstock reports.
