Massive deposits of lithium discovered in Mexico

Mexico is positioning itself to profit off its reserves of lithium – a mineral essential in the production of today’s electric vehicle batteries.

A massive field of lithium was discovered a few years ago in the northern state of Sonora. But it turns out there’s even more with additional deposits uncovered in the neighboring state of Chihuahua.
