U.S. reopens closed border crossings as migration slows

Four border crossings between the United States and Mexico have re-opened on Jan. 4.

The move comes as the number of migrants is showing a steep decline. Officials hope the resumption of normal operations will benefit the economies of both countries.

But many wonder how long it will last. CGTN’s Alasdair Baverstock reports.
