A day with Mexican novelist Laura Esquivel
It was 1989 when a female writer from Mexico, using the literary style of magical realism, released her debut novel "Like Water For Chocolate." It's the story of a girl raised on a ranch during the Mexican Revolution by her family chef. As a result, she learns to express her intense emotions through cooking and food. Correspondent Alasdair Baverstock spent the day with international best-selling author Laura Esquivel who recently moved back to her home country.
