Former Sinaloa Cartel gangster talks to Alasdair

El Ivan is a former Tijuana gangster. A member of the Sinaloa Cartel.  He began at age 15.

In this video he tells CGTN’s Alasdair Baverstock about the evolution of his life of crime and how he escaped.

But he also worries circumstances in Tijuana can lead others to a life of crime.
