Amazon steers Mexico towards cashless economy

In Mexico, one of the world's top 12 economies, more than half the country's population don't have a bank account. E-commerce giant, Amazon is now trying to change that.

E-commerce has been having a difficult time establishing itself in Mexico-where many businesses, and their customers, prefer to do business with cash only. E-commerce requires online banking. Amazon, thinks it has a solution-an Amazon debit card.
